Rima Alameddine is the Chief Revenue Officer for IonQ, a leading full-stack Quantum Computing company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. She leads Go-To-Market and Customer Success strategies and execution, overseeing the worldwide Government and Commercial Business to help customers address their challenges using quantum technology. In 2023, IonQ ranked 34th on Deloitte’s list of the 500 fastest-growing companies in North America.
Before joining IonQ, Rima served as Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Nvidia for nearly seven years. She built the Enterprise AI Sales business for the eastern half of the United States from scratch and then transitioned to lead the Americas Enterprise Sales business across several verticals. She and her team focused on helping Fortune 500 customers drive innovation with Artificial Intelligence and Accelerated Computing. She led Nvidia’s first AI for Business Summit, bringing global leaders together to learn about AI’s impact on business.
Prior to joining NVIDIA, Rima spent 18 years at Cisco, where she held leadership positions in Sales and Engineering across multiple market segments. Her last role was leading the New York Enterprise business across the company’s entire portfolio of solutions. She was the executive sponsor for Cisco’s leadership program to prepare managers for more senior leadership roles.
Prior to Cisco, Rima worked at Sun Microsystems, consulting with large Financial Services clients on Server & Software solutions. She has also worked at UBS as a Trading Floor software developer and at Syncsort as a software developer.
Rima speaks regularly on topics such as Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Scaling Business, and Leadership.
Rima holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer engineering from the American University of Beirut and Syracuse University. She has completed Leadership and Business Executive classes at Cisco and Harvard University.
