Erin Gill serves as Vice President of Sustainability & Government Relations at Knoxville Utilities Board, where she drives progress toward cleaner and more resilient energy and water services and manages relationships with governmental and other regional partners. Having focused her career on ensuring urban systems meet the evolving needs of communities in the 21st century, Erin is known for leading collaborative, results-oriented initiatives that leverage strong partnerships and good policy to make Knoxville a more safe, vibrant, and sustainable community. Prior to joining KUB, she served for over a decade at the City of Knoxville, where she held the roles of Director of Sustainability and, more recently, Chief Policy Officer and Deputy to Mayor Indya Kincannon.
Erin chairs the Tennessee Valley Authority’s Regional Energy Resource Council, which provides guidance on how TVA manages its energy resources against competing objectives and values. She holds a Master of Environmental Management degree from Yale University’s School of the Environment and a B.A. in History from the University of Notre Dame.
