Rod Hanson - Chief Executive Officer

Rod Hanson is the Co-Founder and CEO of Cityside Networks, LLC. Dba Cityside Fiber, founded in 2021 and headquartered in Irvine, California, Cityside Fiber is a fiber-to-the-premise ("FTTP") developer and internet service provider. In addition to its residential offerings, Cityside provides wholesale fiber products to business customers by deploying networks with capacity and flexibility to support future smart city applications, 5G deployments, and other connectivity use cases in Southern California and expansion markets.

Previously, Rod was the Vice President and General Manager of Small Cells for the West Region at Crown Castle from March of 2016 to November of 2020. He was founder and CEO of RealCom Associates, LLC from 2001 until he sold the company to Smartlink in 2013 and where he was Regional VP until 2016. His career spans more than 30 years leading teams to design, build, and operate commercial networks for wireless and fiber service providers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint and Crown Castle. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of Washington and was the Co-Founder and Vice-President of the Northwest Wireless association from 2007 until 2012.
