Marissa Mitrovich is the Vice President of Public Policy for the Fiber Broadband Association (FBA), where she leads the association’s federal and state advocacy efforts and advances the association’s agenda on behalf of the nearly 500 members of the fiber broadband ecosystem.
Recognized in 2024 as one of Washington’s most influential leaders in tech and telecom policy by Washingtonian, Ms. Mitrovich has more than two decades of experience in governmental affairs and telecommunications. She has served as an executive at companies (Frontier Communications and Verizon), associations (Wireless Infrastructure Association and Fiber Broadband Association), and a multiclient firm (The Washington Group).
Additionally, Ms. Mitrovich worked as part of the political team for the Obama-Biden presidential campaign in 2008. She was also a founding board member and currently serves on the Advisory Council of Global Women’s Innovation Network (GlobalWIN). Ms. Mitrovich holds a Master in Political Management from the George Washington University and a Bachelor of the Arts in Anthropology and Sociology from Agnes Scott College.
