As fiber broadband expands across federal and tribal lands, crossing railroads, bridges and through mountain ranges, the Federal government has taken steps to facilitate the permitting process to support NTIA’s BEAD and other grant programs with a goal of creating efficiencies and reducing approval timeframes. This panel of federal agency experts will provide an update on the work completed to date and the plans to streamline the permitting process further.
